Questions?
Which age groups do you serve?
We offer two age-based classes designed to meet children where they are developmentally.
Cheetah Paws: Ages 5-8
Cheetah Crew: Ages 9-12
Each class teaches age-appropriate physical literacy, athletic skills, teamwork, and character in a fun, encouraging environment.
What is the focus of the program?
Cheetah Crew is a character-based physical education program that helps children build physical literacy—the foundational movement skills needed for an active, healthy life.
Each class develops coordination, confidence, athletic skills, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and sportsmanship through engaging games and activities. We follow Texas PE standards while making movement fun and meaningful.
Are your coaches certified?
Yes! Coach Mandy is a Texas-certified elementary educator with a degree in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas and training in elementary kinesiology. Both Coach Mandy and Coach Corey are certified in CPR and First Aid for children and are committed to providing a safe, encouraging environment where every child can thrive.
How many students are in each class?
We maintain a 10:1 student-to-coach ratio or lower. As classes grow, we add assistant coaches to ensure every child receives personal attention, encouragement, and quality instruction.
Do parents stay during class?
Yes. Parents remain on-site during class in case their child needs assistance with the restroom or other needs. You’re welcome to watch and cheer on your athlete!
What should my child wear and bring?
Please have your child wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes with socks (no sandals or Crocs). Long hair should be tied back, and jewelry should be left at home. Bring a labeled water bottle—we’ll provide all the equipment! Due to safety, students must follow these guidelines to participate. Unfortunately, refunds aren't available if students arrive to class without proper attire as their time was reserved and can't be replaced.
Is Cheetah Crew only for homeschool families?
No. While our schedule is designed with homeschool families in mind, all children are welcome.
Is this a competitive sports program?
No. Our focus is on building confidence, physical literacy, healthy habits, and character. While we include fun games and friendly competition, our goal is for every child to participate, improve, and discover the joy of movement—not to win trophies.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to provide makeups for planned or unplanned absences. However, up to one missed class per month can sometimes join an open play sports time within one month of the absence. Please reach out to the coaches by email to see if it’s possible to be scheduled.
Every athlete earns Paw Print stamps for participation, effort, teamwork, and positive character. At the end of each session, students celebrate as a group their growth.
